Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the PartSpotter mobile application (the "Service") operated by PartSpotter ("us", "we", or "our"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
PartSpotter uses artificial intelligence (AI) to provide suggestions for automotive parts based on user-submitted images and vehicle information. This service is intended for informational purposes only.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The part identification is provided by a third-party AI and its accuracy is not guaranteed. We do not warrant that the results provided by the Service will be accurate, reliable, or error-free. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any information before making a purchase or performing repairs.
In no event shall PartSpotter, nor its directors, employees, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, economic loss, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iii) the purchase or use of any parts based on information from the Service. We are not responsible for any damages to your vehicle, personal injury, or financial loss resulting from incorrect parts purchased or installed based on the app's suggestion. You agree to use the information provided at your own risk.
Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set on a monthly basis. At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it through your App Store account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. All payments are handled securely through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of PartSpotter and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Data Not Collected: We do not collect personal identifiers like your name, email address, or precise location. All subscription payment information is handled securely by Apple's In-App Purchase system; we do not receive or store any of your financial information.

Your privacy is paramount. User-uploaded images and associated vehicle data are processed to provide a search result and are **not retained on our servers or in any logs for more than 24 hours.**
We use Google's Gemini API to power our part identification feature. Data is sent to Google for processing as part of the service. We recommend you review Google's privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
